I used this over a thin bandage when I had a blister on the top of the thumb. It fits really well but it is a little slippery where you need to grip with your thumb. So my only suggestion on this piece is to put a thin line of some other type of material so your thumb stays in the ball when you are about to bring your arm back otherwise you’ll be knuckling the ball to hold on to it. I read where someone actually made a hole at the tip of the thumb on this item, around the fingertip where your thumb print is and a little lower . That is where you would need some grip just before your release. I don’t know if that would work since it’s material , I don’t know how good it would stay on if you cut the material by the thumb hole near your finger tip but I guess it’s worth a try. I resorted to using bowlers tape over a small Band-Aid on my blister then putting this on and that worked really well but I did have trouble holding onto the ball. Once healed up, I use bowlers tape anyway, just to prevent that from happening.
