AIRTEC Motorsport Turbo Radiator for Toyota Yaris GR Gen 1

Description Following an extensive development process, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch their turbo cooler and auxiliary radiator kits aimed at modified Yaris GR owners who require the ultimate cooling package to maintain steady running temperatures during track or fast road use. When increasing power and torque levels, additional heat becomes a major challenge for the cooling system. During sustained hard driving, coolant and oil temperatures can rise significantly, which may trigger safety features and reduce performance. To solve this, AIRTEC developed a dedicated turbo radiator designed to improve the vehicle’s overall cooling efficiency and maintain stable operating temperatures under demanding conditions. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, this additional turbo cooler fits neatly behind the fog light (requires removal) and uses laser-cut aluminium ducting to force cold air through the radiator. Air then exits via the inner arch liner to further improve cooling performance. The turbo cooler is plumbed directly into the cooling circuit supplying the turbo, reducing heat before it reaches the hottest areas of the engine and improving long-term thermal stability. Track testing with both turbo and auxiliary radiators installed showed a peak drop of around 10°C in coolant temperature, maintaining a safer constant operating range while also improving oil temperature control.
