Mount Kit for Brushless 15″ Silverado PWM Fan by Burndown

Designed and built by Dane Thompson of the Burndown YouTube channel, this fan mount kit allows you to use the Silverado PWM fans with an aluminum shroud and radiator of your choice.  The fan mount is 16-1/4″ in diameter and the fan is approximately 15-1/2″.  The mount is 2-1/2″ deep, but the fan protrudes slightly, so you need to use a shroud with a minimum depth of 1/2″.  The fan part numbers known to work are 85565556 (left side) and 85565557 (right side, slightly lower airflow).  These are PWM fans, so you will need a way to control it with a PWM- signal.  GM moved to LIN controlled fans around 2020, so we recommend against buying other part numbers unless you’re positive that they’re PWM controlled.  Included is the following: Fan mount Mounting hardware Tap for fan mounting holes Harness with 4′ power leads and 6′ PWM signal wire
