Victorian 2.60ct Sapphire and Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1880s

This exquisite five stone ring dates to the Victorian era. At its centre sits an unheated sapphire weighing 1.40 carat, flanked by two 0.40 carat, old cut diamonds and two 0.60 carat sapphires at either end. The diamonds match in colour at G and range in colour from VS to SI. Set amongst the primary stones are additional rose cut diamonds adding beautiful detail. The ring is crafted from 18 carat yellow gold and is beautifully adorned with hand carved details on the basketwork and shank, making it a truly intricate piece.
