Mixed Metal Wave Earrings

These are fully handmade ocean inspired wave earrings made by hand bending metal into an open hoop teardrop frame, and weaving in a hand formed wave design into the frame, and hammering both flat. I made three different pairs, all of them combined with two different metals made using a mix of the three: either bare uncoated copper wire, bare unciated brass wire, or .925 sterling silver wire. From each design I dangled an Amazonite towerpoint teardrop. Photo 2 shows the earring made with a brass frame and a sterling wave woven into the frame.
