It’s pretty straightforward swapping the guts of your old fob into this new shell. However, I don’t believe I saw any included instructions. There are little standoffs molded into the rubber liner (which has the buttons). The circuit card has to sit on these standoffs to be supported inside the case. But….not fold/pinch the edge that forms the seal when the two halves are snapped back together. I went through a couple of different approaches.I first tried to insert the card and use a small pick to work my way around the edge of the seal to get it out from under the card. This worked, but was time consuming. On the other (I bought 2 of these) I just pulled the entire rubber line out, inserted the circuit card, then stuffed the whole assembly back into the shell. This also worked, but it was also kind of tedious to get everything seated so the shells would snap back together properly.This is much, much better than buying a whole new fob.
