We have a sensory seeking 2 year old. He climbs EVERYTHING. He has out this chair through the wringer of dangerous ways to use it. He climbs over the back, rocks standing up, every which way, and it has not ever flipped or tipped over. Let me clarify that it must be on a flat surface, because when it’s rocking off the edge of something, it isn’t as sturdy but that is being used improperly. It is beautifully made, great quality and very stable.My only complaint is the seat cover. It is made of toxic polyester. Which, to be fair, 99.9% of things in the US are, but I really really wish I could purchase the same pad for more money made of a non toxic material. My son has severe eczema and touching polyester flares him up. I am still looking for a fix for that. Either have a seamstress use the pad to sew one made of organic cotton or I try to cover it. BUT I WISH the company offered it. The chair itself is so beautiful and high quality, I just wish the seat cover was too.Overall, it’s an A product that we absolutely love and highly recommend to anyone with kids. It’s the perfect size for my 2 year old but def too small for my 6 year old. If that’s helpful for others wondering the size. It was bigger than I expected it would be, which is good because it will last longer. Probably ideal size for 3-4.
