Ok… the install part of that question and rating isn’t the coils’ fault. It’s the mower for being so difficult to access the danged things. Now the second question about value for money is relevant. I appreciate branded and assumed to be higher quality parts – but come on, these are 4 times more expensive than the Chinese knockoffs. AND I’d bet if you knew which factory in China these came from – you know they did – then you could have bought them without a brand labeled box and saved a crap ton of money. BUT. They worked. I didn’t have to take the mower apart 3 times just to get two working coils like so many of the unbranded ones show in their reviews. But come on Kohler… you don’t have to make all your profit on one little part! I’m sick of these stupidly inflated prices over the last couple of years. Consumers are getting hung out to dry just for needing to live and at these prices we’ll eventually have to just start buying everything right off the boat and skip the American branded stuff… because we aren’t rich!
